A majority of Southern Regional students depend on bus transportation to get to and from school. The following regulations must be observed by all riders:
- Students should be on time at their designated bus stops.
- Good order is essential. The bus driver is the person of authority in full charge of the bus and is responsible for maintaining order.
- The driver may assign each student a definite seat, subject to change by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or bus driver.
- Students are to use seatbelts where provided.
- The bus driver will report unmanageable students to the Administration for disciplinary action.
- All school regulations are in effect on buses.
- Parents or guardians of students suspended from the bus are responsible for providing transportation to and from school.
- Students needing a secondary bus stop must contact Transportation. After the first two weeks of school, the district will approve secondary stops for buses with available seats. If a bus is full, a secondary stop cannot be approved.
